Hello. At around 12 noon I lost the files in one of my directories.
I ran out of space (passed my quota and almost at my limit) while
generating some temporary files and was forced to move one of my
directories to /tmp. When I was done, I forgot to move them back into
my locker. By the time I realized my mistake and came back to the
workstation to get the files back, they were already gone.
There were 40+ files in the directory. Its path is
/mit/mercedes/resumes/benz. Many of the files begin with "bt". They
are the record of my job hunting letters, resumes etc. They were all
compressed. I.e most of them would be recognized by bt*.mss.Z
The files were created throughout the academic year from September
through May.
My locker is "NFS /u3/lockers/mercedes APHRODITE.MIT.EDU w /mit/mercedes"
