At approximately 7:45 pm today, NSTAR had a power surge due to a disturbance
in the Transmission system and all power is stable at this time.
The MIT buildings affected by the power interruption include:
W92,W2/2A,11,W11,54,W85,7,W34/W35,W1,NW61,64,33/35,38,W91,NW10,NW61,W2,W7,37
,E55,W79,16/56,NW30,W13,13,N42,E1,62,NW16,W79,NW16,E19 and Bldg 5
If anyone is experiencing problem as a result of this interruption, please
direct them to call Repair and Maintenance at x3-4948 (FIXIT) and select the
option to speak with someone directly.
