Hello,
Computing help told me to email to find out whether our lab's printer
is serviceable by MIT or if we have to call a HP service place. The
printer is a Color LaserJet 4550N, in the DiCarlo Lab (E25-242), IP
address is 18.42.2.203, and the hostname is DiCarlo-HP4550. The
problem was paper jams, and while I was on the phone with HP to see if
maybe they could help, the paper jammed and when I cleared the jam a
piece of melted plastic came off stuck to the jammed paper. I have
actually succeeded in printing at least one document since then, but I
would definitely like to have the machine checked out.
Thanks for any help,
Jennie
