New web pages for ordering Facilities services

Dear MIT Customers,
The Department of Facilities announces changes to its web services that we
hope will allow you to track your work requests more easily.
New Web Request Form
Beginning this week, all Repair and Maintenance repair requests and East
Zone Custodial requests should be submitted using the web request form on
the Facilities web site:
https://web.mit.edu/facilities/www/rm/rm-request.shtml. Once you submit your
request via the web, you will receive a confirmation and email that includes
a work order number for your request.
Track Request Status
You can use this work order number to track the status of the request
through the web: https://web.mit.edu/facilities/www/rm/forms/questions.shtml
Through this feature you can track the request with updates such as,
"waiting for parts (WFP)," and learn which team is currently working on your
request.
SAPWeb
When ordering work that must be paid for by your department, please use SAP:
http://web.mit.edu/sapweb/PS1/index.shtml. You can track the status of the r
Repair and Maintenance requests and East Zone Custodial requests via the
web, as well.
"Refresh" your web pages
If you have "book marked" the previous web pages, you will need to refresh
or reload the pages in order to use the new pages as your "book mark" or
"favorite".
Customer Forum
To learn more about these web features, please come to our Customer Forum on
Monday, June 23 from Noon until 1:00 p.m. in Room 68-181. Bring your lunch,
drinks and dessert will be provided.
