upon arrival, dave and i saw that the monitor was displaying all white.
we tested the adjacent monitor on the system and got the same result.
then, dave powered down and powered up the system. upon powering up, the
system displayed a notice: "keyboard not present. using ttya..." so we
switched keyboards and tried various ports on the system, all to no avail.
the system is back to displaying an all-white onscreen image. we have placed a
"downed" note on it and await further assistance from you guys. thanks.
