Sun Blade server timing out awaiting ARP/RARP packets

Greetings,
         We've got a Sun Blade 100 server (mitupv.mit.edu / 18.89.2.155) 
which has started to timeout at around noon, unable to get ARP/RARP 
packets.  I've already tried a different network cable and port, but get 
the same result.  Rebooting the system had no effect.  I'm guessing either 
Athena is unhappy or the network card has died. Lou Isgur recently attended 
to the system when we had to do a complete hard drive replacement last 
week.  I can be contacted at the number below at anytime.  The server 
itself is located in 9-045.  Thank you.
