Beginning on Tuesday, April 16, National Water Main Cleaning Company will
conduct preliminary work on catch basins on the west side of campus.
Construction will begin near the West Gate parking lot and continue down
Amherst Alley. The project will involve the scooping of debris found in the
catch basins and removing it to a temporary staging area in the northwest
corner of the W85 parking lot.
The Department of Facilities anticipates that this work, which is required
as part of a storm drain installation project, should take approximately
eight days to complete. The hours of operation will be from 9:00 AM to 3:30
PM.
