Dear ATHENA Hotline Representative,
The network connection cable for EAPS cluster workstation
SATURN.MIT.EDU seems to have been taken (that is, unplugged from the
workstation and the net drop, and taken out of the cluster). I found
SATURN running with diagnostics appearing periodically in the console
window.
For now I've re-connected SATURN with an unused cable left from a
pre-Ultra ATHENA workstation no longer in the cluster. It seems to
work and SATURN has reactivated properly, but it might be a good idea
to check and make sure it's truly in spec for an Ultra 5.
I also thought I should report the theft of the original cable, since
I imagine records of such things are kept.
