The sipb.mit.edu AFS server rosebud2.mit.edu will go down
beginning at 11pm on Tuesday, 1/2/2001, for a hardware replacement. All
services on rosebud are replicated, so clients should not experience any
loss of service during the outage, although they may experience console
messages of the form:
afs: lost contact with volume location server 18.181.0.22 in cell sipb.mit.edu
Status notifications regarding the outage will be sent to the
"consult" instance.
