Matisse (an RT in the E40 basement, which is the primary OLC server)
suffered a major hard disk failure this afternoon. John Carr managed to
scavenge some of the data files off of it, but the corruption was severe
enough that it needed to be re-installed. The backup OLC server
brennin.mit.edu was brought up as mattise.mit.edu, and is providing OLC
service, while matisse has been re-installed under the name brennin. (Thanks
Young!)
Could diags be run on the hard disk of matisse (the RT) to see if there's
any underlying problem behind this, before I bring it up again?
