This Saturday, May 25th, Physical Plant will be turning off
power to buildings 1-11 (except building 9 which will be on) at 8am
for the entire day (possibly until as late as midnight). All network
services in these buildings will be effected (including building 9).
ISDN telephones that are not on "protected" power will not operate
during this time period. Once power is restored, network service and
effected ISDN telephones will be restored to full service (you will
need to reset the time display on ISDN phones).
Note: Project Athena's primary file servers are located in building 11
and will not operate during the shutdown. A large part of the
information available in TechINFO is also stored on these file servers
and will not be available during the shutdown.
