City of Cambridge to begin Storm Drain project pre-construction
SEA engineering consultants have confirmed that beginning tomorrow,
Thursday, June 22, from 7:00 AM until 3:30 PM test work for the storm drain
project will begin at the corner of Mass. Ave. and Albany Street.
The workers will be at various points on Mass. Ave. and Memorial Drive over
the next two weeks doing preliminary testing to discern exact locations of
underground utility lines. During this time there could be some disruption
to vehicular traffic in the area.
Following the testing period, major construction of the storm drain will
begin in early July at two points: on Memorial Drive near Mass. Ave., and
at the corner of Mass. Ave. and Albany Street.
