monitor problem

hi
the monitor on this workstation, barker-5-1, keeps blanking out,
momentarily each time. i have never seen a monitor do this before; it
does NOT degauss or make any clicking sound as it blanks out, which is
what would happen if it were power cycled. so i don't think it has to
do with loose wiring. perhaps you can take a look and see what is
wrong.
