Todd Belton heard the noise about monitors and sent the following:

    Subject: Sun monitors

This business of the Sun monitors - is this possibly why my graphics
in Netscape looked so nice for several days with the new system and
monitor, and are now back to looking like garbage again? Is there
some way I can locally tell my machine (which I haven't gotten
around to privatizing yet, but am prepared to) what its real
    capabilities are?

I checked his machine, and it was the wrong resolution.
I screwed his video monitor cable in tighter with a screw driver
and power cycled.

Now his monitor is the right resolution.

I DID notice that the LEFT screw on the computer side would turn and
turn and turn and not tighten anything...
