Utilities need to complete the few remaining tests of the upgraded CUP
emergency power system, which was not accomplished on December 22..
>Testing of the Central Utilities Plant Emergency Power System will
be as follows:
>
>Thursday January 13th 9pm to Friday January 14th 3am
>
>Interruptions to emergency power (exit signs and emergency
lighting) will
>occur for minimum durations of 10 seconds to maximum durations of
30 minutes
Most durations will be under 5 minutes... but
should
>some tests initiate system failures, outage duration's could be 30
minutes
>before emergency power is restored
>
>Buildings Affected:
>
1,2,3,4,5,6,6A,7,7A,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,18,24*,26,31,33,34,35,36*,37,38,3

>*,50,54,62,64,E17, E18,E19,N9**, N10**.

>Notes:

>* Buildings 24, 36, 39 have transfer switches that will be placed
in
>"manual-normal power " by Facilities personnel to avoid multiple
