	The sipb.mit.edu AFS servers rosebud2.mit.edu and
reynelda.mit.edu will each be briefly unavailable Friday night/Saturday
morning 11/13, beginning at 2am, in order to be rebooted.  This reboot
will cause a previously applied software patch to take effect.  While
the machines are rebooting, clients may experience "lost contact with
volume location server" console messages, and all data stored on these
servers will be unavaiable.  This includes the outland locker and other
software lockers, but does not include the sipb locker or the Linux and
NetBSD system packs; these are replicated and should remain available
throughout the outage.
