My home directory, as well many other user directories,
are currently inaccessible. Any attempt to cd to them,
list them long form, or otherwise access them fails with
the message "directoryname: connection timed out". This
has not been a problem for very long, as I lost access
to my directory during a dialup session half an hour ago.
