problems with 8.2 update

I called the hotline number & left voice mail earlier today, but I'm
going to be in lab this afternoon, & won't be by a telephone. Two
athena workstations lost power while in the middle of the 8.2 update
this morning, and neither machine will boot.
cfd4.mit.edu: SparcStation4, located in 1-331. This machine is a
private workstation, and has a large amount of user data stored on the
hard drive. This data should not be erased when the new OS software
is reinstalled. Please contact me before sending anyone out to fix
this machine.
england.mit.edu: SparcStation5, located in 5-334. This is a
workstation in the 1.00 TA offices. It also has data stored on the
hard drive, and this data should be preserved when the new software is
installed.

the general timeframe for getting these two machines working again.
