Subject: Phase II shutdown of Bldg.4-033-045 area

As part of the new lecture hall renovations at 4-231 and 237. A section
of existing abandoned ductwork in building four basement corridor will
be removed. Needless to say this is going to be quite noisy and dusty.
The contractor will be partitioning off this area and people will not be
allowed to pass through. The contractor will start preparation of the
area on Friday afternoon and will work through the weekend.

I was informed by Kim Sutherland that the occurrence of this shutdown is
necessary for demoing ductwork. It will be taking place on Friday 7/31
through Sunday 8/2. The area MUST be cleared due to noise and dust
accumulation.
For any further information and questions, please contact Kim Sutherland
at 3-6376.
