Alan, your message to the Athena Hardware Hotline
was forwarded to us for a response.
Hubs affect the network topology and if not designed
into the network can cause problems for all users of
the network, not just the users of the hub. For this
reason, the installation of hubs on MITnet drops is
not permitted.
