The final phase of group relamping is about to begin. Sylvania Lighting
Services will commence work April 21 and will complete the work by
mid-July. Hours of work will generally be from about 5 PM to 3:30 AM
each night. Special arrangements are possible for some areas, but the
economics of group relamping dictates that a given area be worked from
start to finish all at one pass. Except for occasional failures,
building won't require group relamping for at least another 4-5 years.
The buildings left to complete the campus are as follows
Buildings 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 24, 26, 33, 37,
41, 45, 48, 50, 51, 54, 56, 66, E15, E28, E39, E40, N42, N57, W20, W23,
W31, W53, W59, W91, WW15.
You will be notified one (1) week before work in your building will
start.
The current plan is to relamp buildings in the following order:
2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 11, 7, 5, 3, 1, 17, 33, 37, 24, 26, 48, 41, 18, 54,
56, 66, 50, 51, E15, E28, E39, E40, N57, W20, W23, W31, W53, W59, W91,
WW15.
On April 21, we expect to start in Buildings 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12.
