I found one of our SPARCstation 5 Athena workstations (libsys.mit.edu,
18.51.1.63) in the Libraries Systems Office (room 14-0615 in the basement)
with an error message on its screen this morning. Attempts to reboot result
in the same error message appearing after only a few seconds...

        not found: pageout_reserve
        not found: pageout_reserve
krtld: error during initial load/link phase
        Memory Address not Aligned

and it drops to the "ok" prompt.

Could this be a hardware problem? Do you have any idea how to recover from
this kind of situation? We have no need to keep any particular data on this
machine, so cleaning it out and reistalling generic Athena software would be
fine if that would help.

Thanks for any clues!
...Eric
