athena workstation on Indy

Hi! I have 2 questions:
1. there is an Indy in my lab which we want to convert to an
athena workstation. It already has files on it that
we would have to remove before the conversion.
Could you tell me what the procedure is for getting athena
to run on the workstation and whether it could still share
file systems with its local network.
2. I was told that it is possible to work on athena and 'see'
a file system on a non-athena computer by attaching it.
How would this be done?
