Problem with workstation

Hi, I was working on the cluster in building 4-035 in an Indy ?(Silicon
Graphics) machine when it suddenly gave me a message of a hardware
problem on one pin of a memory SIMM.
After this message, the computer turned to another screen in which it
was deleting/checking applications or files (I don't remember it well).
after a couple of minutes of doing this, it went down and the power
turned to "power saving".
The machine is M4-035-20 :18.53.0.34 and has an ID sticker on it
labelled MIT 0291481 with a bar code on it.
I also would like to know if this problem loged me out automatically or
if I'm still loged onto the system (If so, how can I log out?).
