Hi,
When I came into my office this morning, my Sparc classic - mithril.mit.edu
- was displaying a screen's worth of
afs: setting clock ahead 2 seconds (via 18.183.0.34 in cell athena.mit.edu).
then:
ENTER RUN LEVEL (0-6, s or S):
I typed s and it ultimately entered System Maintenance Mode. I quit out of
that and opted for 0.
IT then said,
The systems is coming down. Please wait.
System services are not being stopped.

I may or may not try typing help.
Can this machine be saved?
Thanks, in advance,
Phyllis
