Mike, below is what I could find of the history of the printer Cheme5.
As far as we know, it worked in August of 1995. Do you get an error
when you attempt to print from Athena? I sent a short (plain text)
test file to the printer, and as far as I know the test was successful.

We have recently installed an office HP LJ4MP printer in our suite in Bldg 66.
Would you kindly add an unathentic printcap entry for the printer cheme5 (ip
address 18.63.0.179) in the central database. I am told we do not need a print
spooler. Thanks in advance.

Ok, I have added a printcap entry to the db. If this does not work
send us some e-mail. Thanks
