Please see that the following message is circulated within your
department
The National Weather Service has advised that tropical storm Bertha is
expected to affect eastern Massachusetts late Saturday evening/early
Sunday morning. Before leaving your work area today or tomorrow,
please shut all windows and close all drapes, venetian blinds and
shades. Remove all valuable items from floors that could be damaged by
water.
Additional Physical Plant personnel will be on campus to respond to
needs as they arise.
For local weather report, dial 3-1234
For Physical Plant information related to the storm, dial 3-1300
To report storm related damage or outages dial FIXIT.
For life threatening emergencies dial 100.
