Hi,
When is it fair to reboot a locked workstation?
A single user in the public cluster( basement of building 4 ) was
using about half of the machines in the cluster (locked ).
He had a sign on one to call him at his office to ask permission
to reboot any of these machines. I did not see his little sign and
rebooted one at which point he came to cluster and became
extremely upset with me.
Was I in the wrong? Does he have the right to tie up a public
cluster in this manner??
PS. This occured about 30 minutes ago.
