Indy system reinstall

Could someone come and do a system reinstall on an Indy called ferriss.mit.edu.
It is currently in 9-514 while it is down. The machine in its present
configuration doesn't see the network and is missing parts of the system.
Swapping in a different disk fixes things, so I can only suspect that
the OS is at fault.\
