WIthin a second, the screen gave a login window, followed by an error
message, followed by the background. The cycle repeated several times
a second. Typing did not change it. I unplugged the keyboard
hoping that would be the trouble -- no change. I plugged the keyboard
back in and got the console, typed reset, and now I appear to be
rolling. I just thought you might want to know the trouble occurred.
