But did you try submitting the job with the debugging header?

Mm, /mit/postscript/Error-handlers/adobe-ehandler.PS comes to mind.  Put it
at the top of the file and see what happens.

Offhand, it sounds like an infinite loop.  It could also be a dictionary
(memory) overflow.
