I think about 90% of the computer mice with the rolling balls need to replaced
with the ones that use the light sensors and metal mouse pads. Since the
beginning of the year, I have yet to find an Athena machine which worked good
with a rolling ball mouse with exception of the new SGI machines. Most of my
usage have been in the Bldg 37-3rd floor cluster or ocassionally the 5th floor
Student Center.
