Here at m4-167, my friend and I both had problems
printing. I tried printing a known good .ps file
and it didn't give the requested font (New-Century-Schlbk). His paper
done in Frame did not print at all, though the header
page did print.
The self-test page reports 2048K bytes RAM size,
and no font-cartridges installed. Is this normal
for a cluster printer?
I've asked people on help instance for possible causes
of this printer behavior and they tell me that it is
typical for font-cartridges to not be present, but atypical
to only have 2048K of RAM, the norm they said was 10Megs.
One person reported having similar problems with this
printer.
Could this be the problem? Thanks for running a great network!
