We believe that we have figured out the cause of the instabilities we
were seeing in the sipb AFS cell yesterday. In order to solve the
problem, we plan to reboot one of our AFS servers (ronald-ann) tonight
between 2:30am and 3:00am. The outage should last about fifteen
minutes. During that time, client workstations will be unable to
access some of the files in the SIPB cell (most notably, the outland
locker).
