Hello Prog. Counterman,
The toner kits usually get 8-10K pages of life.
6-7K pages sounds low.
A couple possibilities;
1. People are generaly printing more that 5%
page coverage. ie: pictures, charts, graphs..
2. The toner density lever is all the way up.
Open the printer and on the left side there
is a green toner density lever. Make sure it is in the
middle.
Change the toner kit and see how many pages you get from that one.
If it is consistantly using too much toner we can take a look.
