Hi Carol,
I am sending this mail directly to you as it didn't seem appropriate
to send it to net-help, I hope you don`t mind.
Basically I was wondering about the status of the repeater in building 1
that was out of service wed, thurs, fri. Several people in the building
are effected and I told them to refrain from sending in duplicate
messages to your office and that I'd try to follow it up and report the
status to them when I could. I know that alot of work has already been
done to remedy this problem, but unfortunately they (certain people in
bldg 1) and don't seem to realise this. They said that they were going
to call Naomi next (essentially trying to go over peoples heads) but I
told them this would not change anything since it is being dealt with,
and it would just annoy people (like me and possibly you, john chase etc).
Thanks,
-- rory
PS: email is best as I'm sure you have noted I am not near my
desk (phone) alot during the day, I get my work done at night,
the day time is for doing random jobs around the lab/building.
