My workstation, thin-ice.mit.edu, keeps placing this diagnostic in the
console:
09:29 le0: No carrier - cable disconnected or hub link test disabled
As far as I can see the cables are connect and I have as much
functionality as ever. Any ideas what I should do?
Also, amira.mit.edu, an RS6000 50 in 14-010 has been having tape drive
problems -- unable to read or write -- since we received it. Now we
have a tape in the drive which is unready and the drive does not
respond to unload commands.
