Hi,
since the Sun Sparc 5's for Athena are going to be way late, a
design studio that was waiting for one needs a different workstation
for the interim.
The network drops already exist in 10-485, but they are in a
subnet far away. The machine to move from 9-550 is called "eliot".
(18.89.0.95) It's an Rs6000/320.
The network address assigned to the Sun-that-has-not-come is
"CharlesEliot" (18.90.0.22, assigned by endriga but not turned on
as of this minute).
I assume we can change hesinfo for a while so that it thinks
CharlesEliot is an IBM and not a Sun. ( If we need to create a new
address for it while it's in 10-485, then let's call it
"CarolJohnson". )
The 10-495 space is a group workspace, as opposed to a public
cluster, so I don't know if you want it anchor-padded in the new
space. (The IBM is anchor-padded now in 9-550.)
Please let me know if you need to know anything else. Thanks!
Rob
