Carlton took an angry call at 7:05pm from the instructor in 1-115
who complained about not being able to use the projector
in the room (he didn't check the instruction sheet at the instructor's
ws and assumed it worked "like the others".) Although Carlton
was on his way out, he tried to help as best he could, but the instructor
swore at Carlton, "God damnit, someone ought to be here who knows how
to use these things! Heads are going to roll!" and hung up on him.

I called back fifteen minutes later to ask if the projector was
working. It was, and when I spoke to the instructor I told him
that the directions were at the instructor's workstation to which
he responded, "Oh. Well." I additionally informed him that swearing
at our staff and hanging up on them was not acceptable, nor would
it help with the operation of the projector. After fingering
the instructor machine, I got the following information:

PROPAGANDA : finger @m1-115-1

I'll send him some friendly email about projector use and offer
him the option to send mail to me should he have any questions
about av equipment use in our classrooms.
