Subject: New print filter "pscomm"
Date: Mon, 28 Feb 94 16:42:53 EST
From: Darrin E. Robinson <darrin@MIT.EDU>
I just backed "io" out of the new pscommhp filter that was installed to fix
some problems...
Apparently it caused some new ones. Tom was the first to experience this
over the weekend when nil printed many copies of a manual for him without
his request.
Today, the printer medea also experienced this same "multiple copies" of
print... Lou killed the jobs...
I just stopped all the queues, kill'd off all the lpds and pscommhps, and
have put the old pscommhp back in place and renamed the existing one to
pscommhp.bad.
I'm going to move nil to the print server hobbes so that we can use hobbes
for "friendly" testing.
Darrin
