Hi John,
I attempted to repair merchant but I could not log into
root.
AFS has disconnected and I needed to reattach it.
If you would like to try yourself here are the instructions;
ls -l /afs/ <-- afs: No such file or directory
ls -l /usr/vice/etc <- If files are not current date or at 0
length then continue. Compare against
other RS6000s.
mount atalanta:/afs /mnt
cp /mnt/athena/service/CellServDB /usr/vice/etc
who <-- Make sure you are the only one on.
shutdown -Fr now
OR
lsattr -E -l en0
(state will show down) <- If state is down
chdev -l en0 -a state=up
(en0 changed)
shutdown -Fr now

PS
Could you please put iser id "service" in the no_create files of the
workstations and the print queue? It is a account hotline uses for
troubleshooting.
