I stopped in on Greg Jackson this afternoon. He was able to work on
the network, but still mentioned some delay transfering files. A
possible cause on his network outage could have been the 25 pair
cable interface to the Asante hub in the closet. JJ complained too
about a intermittent connection. The cables were inspected and
appeared correctly seated. The cables were secured with wire ties
to relief any strain.
John Chase 's printer connection was changed again. This time
the drop is supported by line 1 on Repeater E200 port 9. John and I
were able to access the network with my laptop PC and were informed of
0% packet loss when the laptop was "pinged" remotely.
