Hello Jonathon,
Sorry it took so long for a return e-mail. SW reloads on
the DECstation 3100s is a real pain due to packet sizes
being moved and the network traffic that prevents clean
packets. The only suggestion is to keep trying and do a
'init' after each attempt. Retrying durring slow periods
is another option.

South-station, a DS3100 in the test-cluster wasn't activating. It was
also having problems with timed. Rebooting did not solve the problem.
I believe it should be re-installed, but the instalation process was
failing when I tried it. Has anyone done a successful DS3100 install
recently?
