Bug in Athena login

Hey guys,
Daniel Gruhl called in from the Edgerton Center (8-6844). He
said that when he logs into his DEC through the serial port, on anything
but 9600 baud, he gets garbage characters after the login. He says that
he spoke to a DEC support person at 3-6320 and that they said that there
is a bug in the Athena login.
The fix is to use an Ultrix login and then to do a kerberos
ticket authentication using renew or one of the other products. David
needs to know what to patch in to get things working correctly. He is
