Going forward, can we better coordinate the upgrade of equipment in these c=
lassrooms to include Athena help during the installation instead of after th=
e fact, I think it would be a smoother process, thanks. =C2=A0We will attempt to=

=E2=80=99s if we are able to access each unit.

As long as the new unit accepts a 1080p resolution we should be fine. We w=
ill also need a replacement for 56-114, the current monitor in there is also=
a 2007WFPs. I=E2=80=99m not sure when we can be available, but it will be a dire=
ct swap, monitor for monitor, still only power and DVI going into the monito=
r. I=E2=80=99m not sure it will be necessary for us to be present.

I just went and checked the monitor models for the Athena machines and 4-23=
1 (which works) is a 2009Wt, and is accepting a 1920 x 1080 video signal, wh=
ich is the current resolution standard in our video systems. The monitors i=
n 4-237 as well as 56-114, are 2007WFPs, which want to see a lower resolutio=
n of 1680 x 1050. This lower resolution is not compatible with our AV syste=
ms, not only is 1680 x 1050 an odd resolution it is a 16:10 aspect as oppose=
d to the current 16:9 we are using.

Can these monitors be swapped out with more modern units? Also, in the fut=
ure, when we have upgrades like this planned, how should we coordinate any d=

From what I can tell that particular display will not accept a 1080p signal=
. It wants to see a strange resolution, 1650x?. I can check again if need=

The monitor in 231 seemed to connect fine with the new system, accepting th=
e 1080p signal we are sending it. The monitor in 237 for some reason will n=
ot accept a 1080p signal, perhaps a new display is needed. We currently hav=
e a DVI cable up to the monitor, but that can be changed to an HDMI if neede=
d.
