Hi! Apparently there were some crossed wires about scheduling, so
we'll need to shift things by a day.

The new proposed schedule is:

Tuesday, 3/9 -- post signs on cluster doors in 37 warning of closing for
update, post draft version of fact sheet so people will know what's
coming (Carla). message in motd about cluster closing (Brian)

Wednesday, 3/10 -- post updated, nice-looking version of fact sheet
(Sharon to finalize document (back permitting :-) ), Carla to post)

Thursday, 3/11 -- 37-332 (the one on the left, with the color
machines) closed 8AM - noon for update (JJ et al)

If all goes well:

Friday, 3/12 -- 37-318 closed 8AM - noon for update (JJ et al)

Friday, 3/12 -- afternoon -- many happy users using AIX3.2 and new
version of Matlab :-)

JJ, Brian, and Richard will coordinate the necessary work for getting
the packs and hesiod ready, and making the installation media.

I'd still like ideas about what to say about X11R5...

					Thanks,

					Carla
