Hi, user Eavgoust had the following complaint in an OLC question, and I'm
forwarding this to you.
This question is NOT related to my porevious one. I want to report that
although the postings on tha W20-575 cluster were informing people that the
cluster would close at 4pm, Dec 31, a lady came some minutes ago asking us
to leave at 3pm! When I protested she told me "that I could stay and she
didn't care if she had to close the building and let me inside" (or
something like that with this exact meaning). I understand now that the
Student Center has to close at 4pm, but in this case Athena should have
allowed for some time between the closing time of the cluster and 4pm, to
turn-off the stations, or whatever else that lady wanted to do. I'm
running now a program for several hours which is going to finish between
3:30 and 4 pm, and I'm going to lose the results of that work because of
the inconsistency in the door announcement and the Student Center schedule.
I'm protesting for both that and the rudeness of that lady who even pulled
off my hands the Athena announcement that I had just taken from the inside
door as "proof" (she let go afterwards).
