jj,
I went over to W20 this morning to check into the reported Ethernet problem
on workstations W20-575-62 thru 65. Because all the devices were occupied
at the time, I was unable to proceed with any extensive (opening the faceplate
of the wall outlet or disconnecting the thinwire cable and checking for fault)
diagnostics on the workstation string because all the units were occupied.
Is there a way Transmission can have those four units disabled for a short
time while the checking of the Ethernet interface problem is investigated?
I would really not like to cause any inconvenience to the users of the
workstations that are currently operational and in use by interrupting their
work.
By the way, I checked *ALL* our reported problem logs and I unable to located
this particular problem being sent on to Transmission.
Errol Morrison
