About 20 minutes ago while minding my own business, this machine just
spontaneously crashed. The console window said something about a mem
error, and the lower left portion of the screen spewed out some info.
Unfortunately, most of it was masked by a zephyr message, but what I
could see said something about a SIMM Parity Check error or just a
SIMM Parity error.

At the time I was running 2 xterms, an emacs, zwgc, vtwm, xclock,
xscreensaver, and had a window up from a 6.037 problem set (all computing
was finished; it was merely displaying an image). I think those were the
only non-root processes running.
