Dear Hotline:
I am the student manager for Ocean Engineering Athena cluster. I am
reporting an accident to you and asking help from you.
Our LN03 printer was first found not working around noon time on
Friday, 11/27/92. The error message I got from our printer server
monitor was the following:

afs: lost contact with volume location server 18.80.0.2 in cell
athena.mit.edu
afs: lost contact with volume location server 18.72.0.43 in cell
athena.mit.edu
------------------------------------------------------------------
I tried to restart our printer server (name: m7-321-7), and I
recerived the following message:

Performing normal system tests
7...6...5...4...3...
Tests completed
>>>
------------------------------------------------------------------
But the printer is still not working. By doing "lpr -Poe" the
following message was received:
------------------------------------------------------------------
unable to connect to m7-321-7mit.edu
------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, this is the problem. I hope that I have described it clearly.
